GB Power Transmission continues to expand its high quality coupling range with the arrival of the new GE Curved Jaw Couplings. Now available from stock are 11 Curved Jaw Coupling models from GE19 to GE90 covering torque capacities from 7.5 to 4500 Nm. The GE Coupling range produces some of the highest torque capacities of any other similar sized coupling by using one of 3 specially designed urethane spiders. The Yellow spider is standard with a Shore Hardness of 92 SH A, the Red Spider offers an increase in torque capacity of up to 42% by using a 98 SH A element. Unlike other well known brands the new GE couplings also has a White spider in the range capable of a further 40% increases in torque. All elements carry the same chemical resistance and increased shelf and service life as other high quality urethane coupling products.
The GE curved Jaw couplings use a high quality cast iron construction for hubs that provides a lightweight dynamically balanced coupling capable of high speeds in excess of 17,000 RPM. The hubs are available in stepped 1 and straight 1a pilot bore capable of accepting a huge range of metric and imperial bore sizes. GB Power can also offer customers highly competitive, quality CNC machining services providing bore and key for all our coupling products including the new GE range. Want to get running again in minutes then the range from GE24 to GE90 also come with taper fit hubs to suit standard pre-bored compression hubs off the shelfs. The Taper Bush products are available to suit almost all imperial and metric bore sized found in the Australian market place. To make life even easier the new GE Curved Jaw couplings are fully interchangeable in hubs and spiders with other leading brands available in locally and internationally. Following in the philosophy of all GB products we are bringing the GE couplings to the market at the same or higher quality of the big brands at a fraction of the cost.
The full technical and dimensional details of the GE curved Jaw Couplings are now available in the new Coupling Technical Reference Catalogue on the GB website www.gbtrans.com.au. The recently released price list is also available for download and existing customers enjoy the same discount they receive from other GB coupling products.
